APARTHOTEL - income split between owner and hotel
I wonder if people who own apartments in an aparthotel could help with the following - what is the normal split in terms of the room rate as between the hotel and the owner of the property? I am in the process of negotiating in relation to my apartment so it would be useful to know what others have agreed. From my own research it appears to be 50-50. Is this right?
All depends on what extra the aparthotel has , as if they have a spa , the hotel own it not you so you get usage , but they take more for it .... and same for other services , in door pool , out door pool etc
Thank you. The complex is suggesting they pay me 30% of the gross room rate + unlimited usage by myself (although I will have to pay "costs" (presumably elecricity etc) when I am using it). The facilities will be quite extensive, pool, gym spa, restaurant. Can you give me an idea as to whether this is within the range of reasonable rates?
Alot are 60/40 split in there favour so not usre , but if you have free use of facilities etc ...its as good as most i would say
which development is it ?
Tamplier are offering owners/management an 80/20 split.
