paradiso verde
hi this is dawn and david
could anyone give us advice on what you do regarding renting out your apartments and how you are getting on. we were adviced not to rent with the same company that the maintenance contract is with, and to change the locks as some underhand letting can take place without the owners knowing. this is not in any way related to Orco, but generally speaking.
regards to all
dawn
It is all a matter of trust. If you feel that your in house Management team are 100% trustworthy then this becomes one of your options.
The apartments that are doing the best from rentals so far for this coming season are those that have advertised themselves and arranged their own bookings. You pay for that advertising but do not pay the % taken by the rental company.
If you are advised that a rental company has got many bookings for the coming season then challenge them to confirm which dates your apartment will be unavailable for your use and what income you can expect from these bookings.
One company was asked this question yesterday and could only confirm 4 days booked for the season although they had just sent out an email telling owners not to book their own apartment through Dec and January as all were fully booked.
If you go down another route other than the block management then yes you should change your locks and ensure that access can only be gained to your apartment by the property management company that you engage.
Hi Dawn and David
I sent you an e-mail. Thanks for visiting my website. I hope the information helps. Please keep in touch. :D

inventory list
can anyone of you nice people out there tell me if you have found anywhere better to buy your knives, forkes etc., that gives better value than the item that orco provide us with and for the quality and price, anywhere in bulgaria.
have to give them an ans before 15th november.

When you are next over take a trip to Metro which is 45 mins from Bansko and you can pick up everything you need. there is also an electrical store like Dixon's and a DIY store like B&Q. Bedding is very expensive and not the best quality. If you can bring that from the Uk you will do better.
thankyou for your reply uncle centurion.
I have looked the metro up on the web, and found them, although no prices really that i can gage whether to go with the inventory provided by the developer or to get it over there. Another option of course is to buy as much as possible in the uk and take it across.
new to it all
Hello everyone at Paradiso Verde,
We are completely new to this lark so I hope this reads ok. The furniture package deal (I think posted by Weasel?) was expensive but I thought I,d buy just the kitchen equiptment stuff to at least get started, when we come over we will suss it out better then. Has anyone bought an appartment in block F and if so have you any news as to when it,ll be finished?

hi heidi and pete
have sent you an email regarding your posting.
can anyone tell me of a good bank to go with in Bansko, as we probably need to open one for the taxes and bill etc. could anyone give advice on this matter.
Does the maintenance co pay our bills for us if instructed or is that something we have to set up ourselves :)
