I spoke to my solicitor in Bansko today and she informed me that the developers can't get hold of Bulgarian Development and is in big problem at present. All the money that we paid to Bulgarian Development for the first instalment has been completely swallowed by BD and nothing has been passed on to the developers. They are trying to find out how to solve this problem. I don't know whether Bulgarian Development is in administration or not and I tried to contact them but all phone numbers are currently disabled or not in service any more. I wonder whether it will be worth visiting their office in Chedale Hulme! It will be a big mess if the developers go into administration.

My understanding is that Bulgarian Developments took their commision and passed the remainder to the developers. If you bought throught Property Find International then the commision was divided between PFI and BD. The developers dispute whether the correct amount was paid to them and also they are having problems tracking which payments are for which customers because multiple payments were combined. They are also saying that the preliminary contract states that the first installment should have been paid directly to them and therefore we are in breach of contract. But I also understand that BD were instructed, by the developers, to collect the money and I received nothing directly from the developers asking for the money. I don't know why this has only come out now. If they had raised this issue when the first payment was made then this could have all been resolved while BD are still around.

I have actually received an e-mail from Savina @ Global invest stating the dates and amounts I have already paid. All that was missing was the final payment. This was received earlier this year. I forwarded to my lawyers and they feel this is enough to proceed probe further. Not holding my breath though!!

Hi, i guess we have all had an e-mail asking for an extra 5886 euro, has anyone paid it or are you going to? Or has anyone managed get the proof of payments made by Bulgarian Developments to the Developer? TrevB

cbhattacharjee ,Iam a little confused by your emails , you have said that you have completed on your studio ,You have not mentioned anything about the missing money , have you completed with money owing or have they waved the missing funds {FAT CHANCE OF THAT }. Cracker

I have paid the necessary amount as per the contract - nothing more than that. While I was in the notary office with my solicitor, I noticed that the purchase price that was mentioned for my flat was almost 1/3rd of the price that I have paid inspite of my request not to lower down the original price which was proposed by the developer. The developer's solicitor then mentioned about the missing money from Bulgarian development and was not keen to alter the amount. However as I had all the receipts of payments with me, the notary instructed the developer's lawyer to write the full price on the deed. Ultimately I did manage to transfer the deed properly.

Hi All, Has anyone else had a note from the elusive Bulgarian Developments today? I got an email stating that a breakdown of all payments made on my bahalf have been posted out to me today. A couple of days ago, I'd also been informed that the developers are happy for me to proceed with the deed finalisation and are not likely to request any further payment. Actually I have paid about £3K too much but have been told I'm not likely to see that cash come back my way! I'm still awaiting a reduction on the proposed maintenance fee though. Nothing on that yet! Anyone else heard anything on their situation?

Royal Park and Spa - payment evidence
Hi all I have decided to post on this forum as I am in the same poistion as everybody else and not getting anywhere with developer. In the past week I have recieved information from BD concerning payments. However I have not received a full history yet. I'm getting sick and tired of all this mess now and wish to put as strong a case together as possible to disprove the developers ascertion that they have not been paid. Can I suggest that anybody that has also received documentary evidence from BD send scanned copies to me so that I can collate and try and sort out what is what. I'm hoping that people were sent different docs so hopefully we can put together a fuller history. Please pm me if you are interested regards

Hi all A wee question on who paid what to who, did most of the people having bought at the royal park, pay money to the the builders via the agents, ie bulgarian developments or others, on receipt of a payment demand or pay money via another source. I received invoices from BD but never paid any money to them but paid monies directly to my lawyers Manzanares whom i assumed, rightly or wrongly, they then paid the money direct to Global to the bank account on the contract ,tonerano in cyprus. I did then receive payment receipts from BD for the 1st 2 payments so now unsure whether Bd ever had any of my money or not. Going to contact lawyer to find out what they did with payments.Bd have also sent me payment slips ,1 of these the 2nd 1 i paid in app 19000 euros but they only paid out 9000 euros saying they took there commission off which have to say was news to me as i have every emai peice of paper and there is no mention of any commission anywhere especially not 10000 grands worth any similar situations out there. Bulgarian Developments had a contract that meant they take 15% of the full purchase price as sales commision with the remainder to be passed on to Tonerano. 1000 euros was paid (by BD) to tonerano up front. The 15% minus 1000 euros was to be taken from the first 30% installment. Hope that makes sense.

Ok where i said "15% minus 1000 euros" I think that should read "15% plus 1000 euros".

Hi Has anyone received any further news from developers or BD? All seems very quiet and I havent heard anything for a few weeks now from anyone. Have the missing payments turned up????
