Hi David, Just been thinking. If the surveyors do a second visit and things have not been put right, how many times are they prepared to revisit until you’re satisfied? Do they charge for each visit after the second one. I’m buying in block B1 and only a few have been sold. In fact, only mine on fourth floor. I hope they intend to complete the rest of the apartments at the same time because no one wants to stay on a building site! Pessimistic I know, but I’ll be amazed if everything is spot on at Act 16.

Hi Alan , thats a good question will send email and ask ,put it this way if they dont complete the snagging list then no act 16 simple as that iam a little concerned {as you can see from photo} apartment across from me is far from anyway near act 15 let alone 16 cheers dave

Hi Dave could you send me info on snagging,did you do it yourself or have someone do it for you, booked to go out for a week on sunday not sure what to expect re snagging,or how to go about doing it, any help would be appreciated. Hi all Skiing was excellent foot of snow fell tuesday night all day wednesday and again on the saturday, met a couple from newcastle who have bought out there they gave me a tour of area took me to some local taverns hadnt been to before where believe it or not the food was excellent and well priced cheap drinks as well ,all down near the town square area not as frequented by tourists at night more by the locals. Was in vicinty when local guy got killed in avalanche on the wed,seen rescue at work and the guys bod coming down next day. just happen to be in area at time. It got a lot of coverage on national tv over the 2 days a lot of locals interviewed and visibly shaken and upset. a wee bit peed off with some of threads that appeared here from the so called experts who would never get caught like the guy did , then again it wasn`t there bod we seen wrapped up in a body bag,. that couldn`t happen to them . Apartment at the exact same stage as Daves no kitchen,no heating ,no stairwell banister ,electrical fittings and switches, probably to early to get a snagging list done, been advised wait until final paymet asked for before getting snagging done , hotel is now being built and is prob about 2/3rds built so there may be facilities eventually. not happy with some things in our wee flat ie low ceiling in living room and bedroom ,in fact at 1 point in living room it goes down to a height of less than a metre nothing about it in plans or contract, awaiting reply from company on them will keep you all posted on what happens. Has anyone heard anything about a possible date for Act 16 yet? I was just looking through my contract and in Art. 10 (5), it stipulates that the buyer can cancel the contract and get a full refund plus interest (some chance!), should the building not be completed within 180 days of 30th August 08. (end feb). It does say, subject to art 4.6, which includes weather as a valid reason for non completion. I have emailed RIS several times, always get a reply saying they will let me know but never an answer.

Hi AlAN, have no clue when act 16 will come ,ris sent email for act 15 and stated act 16 was going to be early Jan load of rubbish !!!! if i could have my money back i would jump at it {no hope} i sign up in feb 2007 now over 2 year total waste of money i have sent you a pm and i am with you all the way if you want to pursue getting your money back cheers dave

Hi Al, Dave Del here completion date was due 30th September on my contract 180 days would make it 31st March. I have photographs taken in bansko 28th jan 2008 of our apartments at royal park which are almost built and of the perun lodge apartments which my mate has bought at and they were at foundation level.went back this year almost exact date 26th jan 2009, took photies of our flats again they up and getting ready but the perun lodge are fully constructed and in use and being rented out , so no excuse on the weather front or construction ban can be used here
