I agree Daniel - I won't be out untill Feb Also I emailed Sanara for a contract update a week or so ago and Have not yet received a reply. If anyone has an update please share

I haven't heard anything for a good while. It seems to have all gone quiet on the Sanara front since they sent out glossy pics of furniture packages and asked people to choose which they wanted and pay up. I would be keen to see any pictures or hear of any updates. Whenever I have asked for photos previously they haven't been very responsive. I'll email them for an update - it may help if several people are asking. Margaret

Hi folks I have been in contact with Yasen and Albena a few days ago trying to get some up to date pics. Surely it must be nearly finished now. I think that over the past 2 years if I had spent the same amount of time working overtime as i have spent chasing sanara and yankov i would of had enough money to buy the whole bloody complex! I'm getting really pissed off now with the lack of communication from Bulgaria. Has anyone bought any furniture from anywhere else other than rip off sanara! At this rate we are going to miss another ski season! Somebody please tell me something that will cheer me up about beautiful Bansko! Sorry about being so negative, but I'm getting fed up with the whole thing

St Georges Ski Lodge in Bansko
Hi, I have bought a Studio appartment in St Georges Ski Lodge - Bansko and I would like to get a group of purchasers together. I bought from a company in the UK/Surrey. If anyone knows of anyone or are themselves a purchaser please reply to this email with your contact details etc and lets see if we can get this situation out there clarified - sooner rather than later. Hi Pink Geranium Are you referring to the same development? There is a St George's Lodge and also a St George Ski & Spa. These are both in Bansko and the similar names are confusing but they are different developments. Most of the sales for St George Ski & Spa were done through Emerging Real Estate, a company initially based in Wakefield and then it relocated to Leeds. It may be that another company was involved as well at a later stage to shift the remaining apartments. Margaret

Hi All, We were out in Bansko last week (for the first time) and were given a tour of St George Ski & Spa - pre-arranged with Yasen who also had us picked up and dropped back at our hotel. Ok so it's still not finished but it's looking good to us. Both Yasen & the on site people we spoke to said that it would be finished in October. I'm no building expert but i would think that is a touch optimistic, or perhaps it depends on your definition of finished. I do think that it will be open in time for the winter season, which has to be the most important thing. The pool & spa area looked pretty impressive and were definitely very close to being completely done. We got to look around our apartments - the furniture was all there, it just needed to be fitted. The landscaping still needs a lot of work as does the road leading to the complex. It was great to finally see the place after all these years & I do think it's going to be excellent. The setting looks like one of the best in Bansko to me. We did take a few photos so if you pm me I'll send them on.

Simon27 So pleased for you, it can be such a long wait, waiting for a property to be finished , hopefully for you the wait is over and you can start to enjoy all that Bansko has to offer . :D

St george sk and spa
Has anybody completed property transfer yet? I have had an email from Sanara after I emailed them to ask about rentals as I have people enquiring. This is the email. They have not contacted me at all since I paid the final instalment. Dear Mr.Dean, We write to you because there has been a long time since you paid your last installment and we must transfer to you your property ownership as soon as possible. Please, let us know if you are going to come personally for the ownership transfer or if you have authorized your solicitor to represent you at the ownership transfer. In both cases, please, let us know when it would be convenient time for you or your representative to arrange the property transfer. Please, find attached the spreadsheet for your property transfer costs and fees. Please, make sure you have transferred to your representatives the exact amount shown in the attached spreadsheet! Looking forward to meet you in St. George Ski & SPA Hotel!

I have not yet had any contact from Sanara or my solicitor reagarding transfer I shall have to chase them - pity I don't have a cattle prod.

Hi all I haven't heard anything from Sanara for weeks and weeks now, despite me continually emailling them. I am also trying to sort out a definate price for my furniture pack, but they haven't even been able to confirm that either. So as things sit at the moment I have an an empty apartment (I think). Basically I have given up all hope of having mine ready for the ski season and don't think i will be able to sign up for the rental contract. Although I'm not so sure that there will be any rentals this year as the place is still unfinished and tourism figures are due to be down this year in Bansko anyway. Plus, I have yet to see any adverts with Epoque hotels. The nightmare continues.....

St George & Spa, Bansko
Hi there, my husband and I have bought a studio flat at the St George & Spa through emerging real estate 2,5 years ago. We were in Bansko last week-end and we visited the resort and our flat. Hopefully it should all be finished for the ski season! However we haven't signed the transfer ownership yet. Has any of you completed the transfer? Are you using Yankov as your legal representative?
