i reckon according to most of your posts ajay that you don't think there is gonig to be anyone in the apartments anyway! as they are all too expensive, will need to be sold, it will never work all the usual negativity! in fairness none of us can fully no what is going to happen!! Cheers!

And I think any would be burglars would need more than New Inn 'block D" and "block C" to go on if they want to burgle their apartments (plus I'm sure they have plenty of age-old methods to know whats empty or not rather than sitting in internet cafes scouring talkbansko!). Re progress of New Inn, I've not heard anything from them for month or so now. Left it with my solicitor to let me know whats happening. Think I'll query the penalty clause as its getting way over now, though I am sure there is no way they'll agree to it.

hi guys, getting back onto the New Inn thread, has anyone else received the letter from lakon detailing the current situation with the development? and also the extras they have included? has anyone made all there payments and signed the notary? if so if you've been out how are things looking? Looks like everyone has lost all hope!! I for one have no intention of paying anything else until Art 16 is issued and we have water, electricity, roads, grass and everything else you would expect!!! Can we get this forum rolling again - I miss reading the moans - at least it makes me feel that I am not alone!

New Inn Final Payment
Has anyone else received the demand for the final payment from Lakon? Are we going to pay up or are we all going to refuse to pay until Protocol 16 is issued and we can actually use the apartments? Without Protocol 16 the apartments are effectively worthless. Or are we all so fed up with the whole thing that we just don't care anymore?

I certainly do not intend to pay until i can use and or rent the apartment. After stringing this out for so long I think it is only right that we keep them waiting a while! I have had a request for payment stating that payment should be made in 14days - that was about 6 weeks ago. I went back with a lot of questions about water and elec. I also asked to see some photos of the complex/apartment completed but nothing to date! If we stick together and all play the same line this will give us more leverage so I am all for us forming an "alliance" . Besides I am still a couple of thousand short for the final payment so every little extra time helps! Have you furnished your apartment yet?

I was naive enough to pay for the furniture over a year ago, after they sent me an e-mail saying it was nearly ready!!! So they have had that money in their bank earning interest, so I feel totally justified in holding back the last payment until I am sure everything is finished and ready.
