They are not replying to me at the moment either. I asked about the shower as I was planning to go over. The best time to get a response from them is when they want something i.e. an installment or a contract signing. I always email them with any queries prior to paying up and they respond. Once you've paid/signed, it will be a miracle if they reply until the next time. Cynical I know, but true!

Hi Jennie - you can't blame BPM. They CANNOT rent it out until the building has Art.16 and God alone knows when that might happen, although I think that even then the rentals will be abysmal - everybody and their dog is hoping to rent out their apartment in Bansko. I would be amazed if any rentals actually covered the maintainance and utilities and tourist licence and taxes.

Think the answer just might be no John!! Personally I don't want Art 16 now - at least not for another 9 months, otherwise we will have to start paying the maintainance charges on an empty apartment - yet more money down the drain. We are all better off if Art 16 is not issued until just before the next winter season. Vendita - are you still going out there next month and do Lakon still say that you can use the apartment?

I had this from my solcitor on 8th Jan re Art 16: The seller inform me that the Use Permission /Akt 16/ is not ready too. The representative of the seller said me that Bash Bair Ltd shall inform all owners when the Akt 16 will be get. No idea who Bash Bair are.

Hi, I'm told by Teodor that I can use my apartment although the building is cold as there is nobody in it. He also tells me the fridge and shower are definately now installed, previously they weren't because of security reasons. With regards to paying the maintenance fee, I don't feel inclined to pay a penny until somebody is actually using it and it needs maintaining.

Cold---I'd imagine it's bloody freezing. I would guess you won't really need that fridge at the moment!! I'm a bit confused though, cos I thought Art 16 was a permit to use the building, so I don't understand why it is allowed (at least by Teodor) to stay in it without Art 16. Have you asked Teodor to clarify this Jennie?

Hi, I visited Bansko a week ago and checked out my apartment at the Old Inn with a Rep from Archadia. The internals of the apartment are completed but there are no utilities conected. The Archadia Rep told me that the Utility companies will not make a permanent connection until Act 16 is issued. I have no way of confirming if this is a true fact. Jennie, I would check with Lakon to confirm all utilities are connected at the New Inn, cold is one thing, no electricity or water .......not good.

I am going out on Feb 18th for a week and have now been told I cannot use the apartment but largely due to the fact that Ihave not been able to arrange furniture until after we return so now looking for soemwhere to rent - at least there is alot of choice!! I will let you know how I get on and what things are looking like.

So what has happened to Jessica and Vendita? Have they been kidnapped and held so the true facts don't get out?? Have they been bribed by Teodor to say nothing? Have they thrown themselves off the top of the tallest apartment block in Bansko (are you allowed to do this without art. 16?) in their desperation at throwing away so much money? Jessica and Vendita, if you can read this please get in touch. Your fellow, equally desparate unusable apartment owners need to know....... Think I've finally lost it - my mind that is, not my money. Lost that when I signed the contract for the New Inn!!
