Act 16
Hi all New inn owners, I can confirm that Act 16 is now been granted and some facilities will begin this year. The developer is in the process of getting electricity meters put in each apartment,so that everyone can rent out to the general public. good luck everyone. New Inn
Nice to see that everyone is so excited about the place finally being ready. Is the road and car park area going to be tarmaced or just left like that? Does anyone know what the wooden hut is in the car park? It all looks rather different to the artists impressions that we all bought into. Overall you can't say that it is a particularly attractive building! Anyone planning on going out there soon?

The hut is for keeping the cleaning materials, security, keys, and place for the staff to have rest breaks etc. It will come down when they start facilities,I presume. The road is the municipalities responsibility,it will be done again in time, but certainly not this year. Still too many buildings unfinished in that area. Can send you my pics of New inn if you want? Seen many worse developments than this,in terms of quality. I did notice the exterior wood needs treating, before Winter kicks in. Maybe you could raise this point, especially if your paying maintenance? The big issue is the lack of facilities, but they say they are going to do them? Any other questions please ask? ''Seen many worse developments than this,in terms of quality.'' not sure if the above statement fill me with great joy!! Cheers, J

The big issue is the lack of facilities, but they say they are going to do them? Believe that & you’ll stand for an egg under your hat/Funnel down your trousers. Archadia will be a away like a rat out of the sewer & the Old Inn, New Inn & Prespa will fall into disrepair over the next few years with poor maintenance (The poor condition of the timbers have already being flagged up) "The roads are the municipality’s responsibility" I was made to understand that some lay with the developers? The external paths are a sand/cement dry mix , with broken bits of stone sprinkled with water will last one season before breaking up just like the top of pirin street, As far as Im concerned the external finish is CRAP

Art. 16 for New Inn
We have now heard from Teodor that The New Inn has Protocol 16 at last. The letting agents are willing to let it now. They have told us they will try to get bookings for this season. Fingers crossed! If not well at least we can use it ourselves.

Flatlander- 09-04-2008

I still can't see any lettings agents going near it without roads. It turned into a quagmire when I was there last March. They'd only end up with complaints and possibly liablity if someone hurt themself.

Jennie- 09-05-2008

Talking of letting agents, can anyone recommend somebody who provides a good service? Also, what now happens regarding paying maintenance fees?

Snow Flake Experiences
Hi All, I have been reading through some of the forum and thought some of you would be looking for help with the rentals. Please take a look at snow flake experiences which is our winter holiday company. We are looking for more developments to rent in Bansko, we also have a summer holiday company sky blue experiences. You can find them on the search engines as we cannot post addresses I think. Good luck. C

Flatlander- 09-07-2008

I think we'll get a contract and demands to pay maintenance pretty soon now art 16 has been issued. When it does have to see who is prepared to pay 12 euros instead of the 7. If some leisure facilities were guaranteed I probably would, but I'm not paying 12 for none when other places are paying 10 with swimming pools, sauna's etc. It's a complete con, especially as I was told we'd have to pay the 12 plus paying ourselves to use any sauna etc. I guess they'll find some way of forcing us into it though.

daz- 09-07-2008

"I guess they'll find some way of forcing us into it though" Simple answer will be IF YOU DONT PAY HOW CAN WE MAINTAIN THE DEVELOPMENT, THEREFORE IT FALLS INTO DISREPAIR.

Where is everybody? Anybody planning to go out to Bansko now that you can actually stay in your own apartment???? Anybody going to use Lakon for the rentals??

rental contract
I have recieved my Rental Contract but 25% commision is to much so I have not signed it. I think it should be 15 to 20% at the most. And will they rent anyway with no road and no signs showing the shortest route to the ski lift. What does everybody else think, has anybody else recieved there rental contract yet?

Perhaps it depends who they will target to rent to. The British would not be happy with the roads in that state but if (as I think they might) they target more the Bulgarian and Russian markets then perhaps these people might not be as particular as we would - just a thought.
